The Reserve Bank of Fiji for the first time will be introducing the $100 denomination together with the other denominations of $2, $5, $10, $20 and $50 which will be of varying note sizes as a feature for the visually impaired. These notes come into circulation from Tuesday 10 April 2007 and will be totally different from those ones which are currently in use. The new series of notes have enhanced security features and new designs.

As a once in a lifetime opportunity, the Reserve Bank is offering for sale specially packaged sets of $2, $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100 denominations with matching serial numbers. These sets have been classified into Unique Serial Numbered Sets and General Serial Numbered Sets and are priced from just $409.00 per set. All sets come with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Governor of the Reserve Bank of Fiji.

Theme: 1995 Silver Jubilee of Independence

$100 Gold Proof (24 Carat Gold) coin issued to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Fiji's Independence. The Fiji Coat of Arms is featured on the reverse of the coins.

Theme: 1991 70th Anniversary of Save the Children Fund 

Issued to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the Save the Children Fund. The obverse of the coins feature Ratu Seru Cakobau (1817 - 1883) while the reverse design show Fijian children in typical daily activities.
